
Mumbai, 03rd September 2026 (GNI) : Prasol Chemicals Limited is set to open its initial public offering (IPO) for subscription on September 8, 2026. The issue will remain open until September 10, with the company proposing to list its equity shares on both the BSE and NSE.
The ₹500 crore IPO comprises a fresh issue of 11.83 lakh equity shares aggregating to ₹80 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 62.13 lakh shares worth ₹420 crore. The price band has been fixed at ₹643 to ₹676 per equity share, with a face value of ₹2 per share.
At the upper price band, the company will command an implied market capitalisation of approximately ₹4,000.8 crore.
The minimum lot size for the IPO is 22 shares, requiring retail investors to invest a minimum of ₹14,872 at the upper price band. Retail investors can apply for up to 13 lots, or 286 shares, amounting to ₹1,93,336.
The IPO is scheduled to be finalised on September 11, while refunds and credit of shares to eligible investors are expected on September 15. The tentative listing date is September 16.
Prasol Chemicals, incorporated in 1992, operates in the specialty chemicals industry and manufactures more than 150 products, including acetone-based, phosphorus-based and other specialty chemicals.
The company operates manufacturing facilities in Khopoli and Mahad, with a combined annual capacity of 98,644 tonnes. It serves customers across multiple industries and exports its products to 69 countries.
