Navi Mumbai, 19 March 2025 (GNI) : Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai (AHNM) continues its remarkable journey in advanced Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures, achieving a significant milestone with 78 transplants. The hospital has demonstrated a long-term success rate of over 70%, successfully treating both adult and pediatric patients, including international cases. Conditions like leukemia, thalassemia, sickle cell disease, severe aplastic anaemia, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome & some rare kinds of immunodeficiency’s present complex medical challenges and often require advanced interventions like bone marrow transplantation (BMT) for a chance at long-term recovery.
