9National, 28th January 2021 (GNI): Narayan Seva Sansthan, which has been working for over three decades in the field of social, physical and economical rehabilitation of Differently abled and under-privileged section of the society, has donated Rs. 11 lakh for Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya. In order to increase its rehabilitation and development activities, Narayan Seva is planning to establish a Narayan Divyang Support Centre in Ayodhya, UP.
President Prashant Agarwal and Director Vandana Agarwal handed over a cheque of Rs. 11 lakh to Leader of Opposition and former Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Leader of Opposition and former Home Minister of Rajasthan, Gulab Chand Kataria said, “We are happy that Narayan Seva Sansthan came forward for a noble cause, and has donated the sum of Rs. 11 lakh for ‘Ram Janmabhoomi Temple’. We are happy for the fact that this noble initiative is also accompanied with the construction of the Narayan Divyang Support Centre.”
Mr. Prashant Agarwal, President, Narayan Seva Sansthan said, “It is a happy moment for all of us to support this cause. Narayan Divyang Support Centre will be built in the welfare of differently abled individuals. The centre will offer Prosthesis, Skill Centre, selection of Patients for corrective surgeries. We have always looked at an objective of serving the differently-abled community to empower them and give them a sustainable livelihood. The motto that we have worked on for years is ‘Service to humanity’ and no person must be left out of the mainstream making them ‘Aatmanirbhar’.”
NSS has conducted 421250 corrective surgeries, education to underprivileged and orphan kids, mass wedding ceremony of 2109 couples till date and many more. All these activities have just been aimed towards making an inclusive society for the differently-abled and making them independent and self-reliant.ends
