Maharashtra Governor pays tribute to martyrs on Martyrs’ Day

MUMBAI, 30th January 2020 (GNI): Two minutes silence was observed by Governor  Bhagat Singh Koshyari as a mark of respect to the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Thursday.

Every year 30 January is observed as Martyrs’ Day in memory of the martyrs who laid down their life for India’s freedom.

Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan, public works department and police personal were present.ends

हुतात्मा दिनानिमित्त राजभवन येथे हुतात्म्यांना आदरांजली
 

हुतात्मा दिनानिमित्त राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी  यांनी राज भवन येथे  दोन मिनिटे मौन पाळून हुतात्म्यांना आपली आदरांजली वाहिली.

देशाच्या स्‍वातंत्र्यासाठी प्राणार्पण केलेल्या हुतात्म्यांप्रती आदर व्यक्त करण्यासाठी दरवर्षी ३० जानेवारी हा दिवस हुतात्मा दिन म्हणून पाळण्यात येतो.

यावेळी राज्यपालांचे सचिव संतोष कुमार, विशेष सचिव राकेश नैथानी , राजभवनातील अधिकारी व  कर्मचारी  तसेच पोलीस आणि सार्वजनिक बांधकाम खात्यातील अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यांनी देखिल दोन मिनिटे मौन पाळून हुतात्म्यांचे स्मरण केले.ends
