Navi Mumbai, 9 May 2024 (GNI): Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai recently conducted a scientific symposium on the topic of Anaesthesia for Organ Transplant. The scientific session, organised in collaboration with the Association of Cardiovascular Thoracic Anaesthesiologists, Mumbai witnessed participation from 110 delegates across Mumbai & Raigad, including prominent medical professionals and key figures in the healthcare sector.
The symposium served as a platform to discuss the latest advances and emerging trends, challenges and best practices, and ethical considerations in the field of organ transplantation. The topics covered included Kidney Transplant, Liver & Bowel Transplant, Heart & Lung Transplant and other organ transplants. Eminent specialists shared their expertise and insights on various aspects of organ donation and transplantation, fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge exchange.
