The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon – Mirchi Get Active Expo kicks-off in style
MUMBAI, (GNI) With just one week to go for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2016, the excitement levels only seem to get bigger and better. The thrill to run the 13th edition was evident at the Mirchi Get Active Expo, which was inaugurated by Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Finance-Planning & Forest Departments, Government of Maharashtra along with , Mr. Ashish Shelar, MLA, President BJP Mumbai & Vice President of Mumbai Cricket Association.
Sanjeeb Chaudhuri, Group Head, Brand & Chief, Marketing Office, Standard Chartered, Vikas Kharge-IAS, Secretary, Revenue and Forests Dept., Maharashtra State, Mahesh Shetty, COO, Radio Mirchi and Vivek Singh, Jt. MD, Procam International, the promoters of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM),at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai on Friday.
Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Finance-Planning & Forest Departments, Government of Maharashtra , said, In our busy lives today, we run to make money, I think we should all run to stay fit and healthy. I thank Standard Chartered and Procam International for organizing such a wonderful event which brings the community together. Mumbai Marathon is among one of the top 10 marathons in the world and if we all continue to support this event , we will reach greater heights. I wish all the runners good luck!
Sudhir Mungantiwar, took a stroll at the various outlets of brands associated with the extravagant event. Ashish Shelar & Sanjeeb Chaudhuri also spent some time at all partner’s stalls, who are the official partners for the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon. They took a stalk of the arrangements at the SCMM Mirchi Get Active Expo 2016, where the participants came in to collect their running bibs from Friday to Sunday Jan. 10. (GNI)
