SIGNPOST INDIA APPOINTED DR. DEEPA MALIK AS AN INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

As a trailblazing Indian athlete, Dr. Deepa Malik holds the distinction of being the first Indian woman to secure a medal in the Paralympic Games. She has received numerous accolades, including the Arjuna Award in 2012, the esteemed Padma Shri Award in 2017, and the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award in 2019. She has won 58 national medals and 23 international medals in various disciplines.
She is the ‘Clean India’ brand ambassador for NMDC, expert consultant for Disability Inclusive Accessible Infrastructure for the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs’ ‘Smart Cities’ project and the President of the Paralympic Committee of India.
