This endeavour spotlighted the an innovative skit performed by Kokilaben Hospital’s nursing team, demonstrating self-examination techniques and the life-saving importance of early cancer detection. This live demonstration allowed for immediate interaction and feedback that helped attendees gain a complete understanding of the self-examination process.
Over 70 participants engaged in this informative event with specialists from Kokilaben Hospital on November 5th. The experts included Dr. Tushar Jadhav, Consultant – Surgical Oncology, Dr. Pushpak Chirmade, Consultant – Medical Oncology, Dr. Bandita Sinha, Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dr. Renuka Borisa, Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Ms. Pratiksha Kadam, Consultant – Dietician, who gave a series of insightful talks along with interactive sessions. These sessions emphasized the critical role of regular self-examinations in the early identification of breast anomalies.
