Agartala (Tripura), 09th December 2022 (GNI): Tripura city was reverberating with the tune of Vithunam on the beats of taal-chipalaya, mridung, dhol, harmonium. The reason for this was the Ashtalakshmi Sant Vichar Sammelan which began on Friday.On the occasion of Ashtalakshmi Sant Vichar Sammelan, Chhote Varkari’s Dindi of Maharashtra became the center of attraction in the procession organized in Agartala, the capital of Tripura.
Golringan was also performed by the devotees taking bath in the devotional water called Vithu during this procession from Ujjayant Palace Ground to Rabindra Shatabdi Bhawan. Citizens gathered on both sides of the road to watch the procession, clapped with thunderous applause.After that, in the inaugural program also, Warkaro of Maharashtra presented a dance based on Krishna Gita. Dressed in white, these spiritual peace ambassadors mesmerized everyone with their skilful presentation.A morning procession was taken out on the first day of the Ashtalakshmi Sant Vichar Sammelan organized by Tripura Government’s Tourism Department, Amarvani Event Foundation and Indus Moon Private Limited.
A large number of citizens participated in the procession led by Mahant Chitta Maharaj of Shanti Kali Ashram.In this procession, a ‘Bhaktisangam’ of the culture of North East and Maharashtra was seen.
