Mumbai, 03 May 2022 (GNI): A genuine talented abstract artist, R.B. Holle, has been recently honoured by presentation of this year’s Nelson Mandela Nobel Peace award. He has also been honoured with Govt. of India’s National academic award ,‘Pollock Krasner Foundation ‘Grand Award’ and Tata Foundation travel Grand Award earlier for his outstanding contribution in the field of paintings and visual arts. He was also awarded honorary doctorate degree in the category of ‘Painting Art and Culture’ by St. Mother Teresa University’ a world famous Hardvard JBR institute USA accredited and affiliated to Cambridge Distance School of Education, U.K. Recently, he was felicitated in a ceremony at Hotel Sahara Star in Mumbai on 28th April, 2022.
Chief guest of the award ceremony was a member of Royal Ruling family of United Arab Emirates Hon. Sheikh Majeed Rashid Al Mulla and other dignitaries including Sandhya Gupta – a descendant of Maharaja Hari Singh of Kashmir, Dr. Pralhadbhai Damodar Modi, M.P., Hon. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje of Kolhapur, Shri. Tanaji Bhau aJadhav, President Tiger Brigade of Maharashtra, Dr. Navdeep Singh (London), Ayeshi Zaveri, Sara Abbas (USA), Cinestar Gulshan Grover, Amisha Patel,Anuradha Paudwal, Ravi Shankar, etc. Mrs. India Rupal Mohata was a prominent guest on this occasion. He was praised by various guests for his outstanding contribution in the field of arts. Rajkumar Tak, Chairman, Mahendra Chandale, Dr. Vivek Chandalia, Mrs. Yogita Holle, Actress Raina Banerji etc., were present on this occasion. Holle hails from a small village near Kasuri, a Bhimashankar Forest. He had struggled in his earlier life for pursuing education at Abhinava Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune and then J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai. He had his art solo shows at Pundole Art gallery, Mumbai, Jehangir art gallery, Fi Art Museum, Yokohama, Japan, World fine art gallery, USA, Carryon gallery, Italy, Trobedar art gallery, London, U.K. etc. He has been honoured with his appointment as Jury in the National academic award committee of Govt. of India.ends GNI SG
