Jaipur, 16 February 2022 (GNI): Ayu Health Hospitals, a growing network of 40+ hospitals across India announces its maiden entry into Jaipur, via acquisition, adding a network of 16+ hospitals to its portfolio. The company has acquired Jaipur based SwasthyaSewak, to bring multi-disciplinary healthcare services to citizens with its unique and trust building feature of pricing transparency.

Ayu Health currently manages 2500+ beds across 50+ hospitals in Bengaluru and Chandigarh. The company which was established in 2019, co-founded by Karan Gupta, Arjit Gupta, and Himesh Joshi is fast growing its network to take quality healthcare to the masses through standardisation of healthcare services provided by neighbourhood hospitals. Buoyed by the growing demand for quality health care facilities in closer proximities, Ayu Health is expanding into underserved markets.

SwasthyaSewak, founded in 2017 by Yashu Kapoor, operates a network of 16+ hospitals in Jaipur. The startup has served over 1 lakh patients since inception. Their strong service-ethos and patient centric approach has made them a trusted partner for residents of Jaipur and Delhi NCR. Through this acquisition, Ayu Health will add 1000 beds to provide localised primary and tertiary medical care for citizens of Jaipur. This apart, the Founder of SwasthyaSewak, Yashu Kapoor has joined Ayu Health in the capacity of Head of Growth and will be based out of Delhi NCR.

Karan Gupta, Co-Founder and COO at Ayu Health said, “We are excited to extend our footprint and accelerate our growth journey in the city of Jaipur.  Ayu Health aims to expand its presence in over 10 regions of the country by the end of the year 2023, which will make it the largest hospital network in the country. Our acquisition on SwasthyaSewak is a step towards this journey. Yashu Kapoor has built a trusted brand and has strong expertise in this field. We are eager to have him spearhead our growth portfolio at Ayu as we continue to deliver on our mission of providing quality trusted healthcare services across the country.”

At Ayu Health, patients are offered a standard pricing package for most treatments and procedures. Costs associated with the surgery, implant costs, price of stents and even hospital admission charges are shared with utmost transparency and even explained to the patients upfront by the medical counsellors and doctors. Additionally patients and doctors are given direct access to digitised health records and test results, so that they know and understand the process fully. Ayu Health also utilizes technology to facilitate insurance and other financial support to the patients.

Yashu Kapoor, Head of Growth, Ayu Health Hospitals said, “I have worked in healthcare  for over 8 years now and strongly believe that the Ayu Health model adds great value to all stakeholders in the ecosystem, especially the patients. I firmly believe that hospital chains of the future will be built by partnering and empowering some of the best doctor entrepreneurs through technology. I am looking forward to strengthen the growth journey of Ayu Hospitals”

Ayu Health has recently raised their Series-A funding of $6.3 million from Vertex Ventures and Stellaris Venture Partners in September, 2021. With the addition of 5,000 plus beds in multiple locations across India, the organization is expected to grow the business by 10 times in FY2022, stated in the press release.
