Captain Dibya Sankar Mishra, Minister Industries, Odisha reviews on Implementation of 5Ts and Mo Sarkar’s progress of various Industries projects

Bhubaneswar, 26th August, 2020 (GNI): The State is implementing its best strategies to bring the economy back on track. The Government of Odisha has geared up to drive the industrial activity and employment generation in the state. Due to the subsequent lockdown, the Department of Industries, Government of Odisha has been operating as usual to maintain promotion of all-round industrial development of the State by generating employment, attract investments and become instrumental in the economic development of the State.

The Honorable Minister reviewed the implementation progress of 5Ts programme and Mo Sarkar today, through webinar which was introduced by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik after he returned to power as the Chief Minister of the state for a fifth consecutive term. The 5-T mantra is based on the philosophy that transparency, teamwork, technology and timeliness –leading to transformation. The state government adopted the 5T agenda to transform governance in all departments by bringing about big, transformational, Institutional-level changes and not incremental makeovers.   

Under the new initiative, the chief minister and other ministers interact with common citizens to seek their feedback on the kind of response and service they received after they visit government facilities.

The state has always endeavored to provide a hassle-free, prompt and conducive business environment for investors. To enable this, the Government Departments have promulgated new policies and undertaken business reforms to expedite project approvals and clearances.
