Nine MCX staffers recover completely from Covid-19

MUMBAI, 26th June 2020 (GNI): Nine employees of the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) infected with the Covid-19 have recovered completely. They have been discharged from hospital after completing their treatment successfully and are in perfect health. The employees had tested positive for the novel coronavirus after one of their colleagues succumbed to Covid-19. The nine employees were part of a core team of 30 employees who were stationed at the MCX office in suburban Mumbai during the lockdown. The staffers worked from the office for two weeks by rotation at a time when most of businesses and offices in the country closing their operations and switching to a Work from Home (WFH) policy for their employees. During the lockdown period, MCX took the necessary care to ensure business continuity, stated in the press release. ends
