Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna in association with NEXA are set to showcase at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019

MUMBAI, 17th August 2019, (GNI):  Couturiers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna will make a comeback at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 after 15 years in association with NEXA. Known for their global sensibilities and impeccable cuts, the designers prepare to put forth their collection ‘Interstellar’ which embodies NEXA’s characteristics – new age and innovation.

Highly inspired by the detailed lines and modernistic trajectory of designs by NEXA, the colour palette is influenced by NEXA, Black and White, with hues of grey, platinum, gunmetal and the signature shade of ‘NEXA Blue’. The collection is the perfect balance of dreaminess and luxury, amalgamating muted crystalline hues with pearlescent beaded elements; displaying cornerstones of minimalism. By bringing together accentuated, glistening, metallic elements with defined silhouettes; a touch of elegance is added to every garment. The collection reflects discernible luminosity with a play of shadow. Strong geometric patterns with elaborate embellishment create linear angles that blend together harmoniously.

Luxurious fabrics like plush satins, frosted silks, fine tulles and suiting organza have been used that help bring this eclectic collection to life; using techniques, silhouettes and designs that create a surreal charm. Free-flowing silhouettes with sheer fabrics, translucent sequins, intricate techniques and crystals with fringe details are evident throughout the collection. Metallic tones inter-twined with lustre lend opulence this season.
