Javed Akhtar expressed how the festival held special memories for him as it helped him connect with his friends who he remembered fondly for 39 years. This festival symbolises the identity of the city,” he beamed.

Sarod maestro Ustad Ayaan Ali Bangash performed with his children Abeer and Zohaan. Ayaan’s mother, veteran classical dancer Subhalakshmi Barua Khan, wife Neema Sharma and father-in-law Romesh Sharma were also present at the occasion. Said he, “Kala Ghoda Arts Festival resonates what India is. Kala Ghoda Arts Festival resonates with what Mumbai is. It is a blessing for both Abeer and Zohaan to be here. We performed Vande Mataram followed by two beautiful ragas. We as a family have a very old association with KGAF and we hope to keep coming back,” expressed Ayaan Ali Bangash. The two young stars Abeer and Zohaan echoed his sentiment.

Versatile Indian actor, guitarist, music producer, and model, Moses Koul, known for his dynamic contributions to the entertainment and music industry, captivated housefull audiences with his performance, adding a unique and vibrant dimension to the festival’s eclectic lineup.

Koul is known for his diverse talents. As a guitarist in the Delhi-based music band Kraken, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the band’s distinctive sound, made his on-screen debut with the web series ‘Class’, showcasing his acting prowess, showcased his musical talents by producing the video song ‘Khan Market Gang,’ a captivating piece performed by his band. Said playback singer Bhoomi Trivedi who enjoyed performing at KGAF to loyal audiences, “I have been looking forward to KGAF. I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to sing for amazing Hindi films.
