India Post, Maharashtra Circle organised the International Mails Conclave- 2023

Mumbai, 3rd September 2023 (GNI): India Post, Maharashtra Circle organised the International Mails Conclave- 2023, on 18th August, 2023 in Mumbai. This conclave marked the presence of all stake holders in promoting commercial exports through India Post. Director General, Foreign Trade, Customs, Federation of Indian Export Organisation and multiple exporters participated in the event.    

       The Postmaster General (Mails & Business Development), India Post, Shri Amitabh Singh spoke about the multifarious new initiatives of India Post promoting commercial exports. In this connection, Shri Amitabh Singh stated “With the launch of Dak Ghar Niryaat Kendras in almost all the districts of Maharashtra, and the Postal Bill of Exports in the centres it has become much easier for exporters to track and manage documentations related to export of data till it reaches its destination. Also, with the growing popularity of International Track Packet Services (ITPS) amongst 39 countries, we hope exporters will make fullest utility of this medium of service which is not only a premium service but also reasonably economical at the same time.”

     The conclave was addressed by Shri R.K. Mishra, Addl. Director General, Foreign Trade, Shri Rishikant Tiwari, Regional Head, Federation of Indian Export Organisation, Shri Sara Gaurishankar, Asst. Commissioner (Customs) and other dignitaries. The conclave was concluded with guidance of Shri K.K. Sharma, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, who said, “India Post has been showing phenomenal progress in the International Mails sector from the past couple of years. Department of Post along with the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Commerce have played an integral role in exploring potential customers from the remotest corners of the country in order to benefit them with the various services launched by India Post , and this conclave looks forward to having successful partnerships with multiple exporters.
