Vishal Deorukhkar is a painter who loves Indian Classical dance, classical as well as folk music and temple architecture. His mastery over the medium and skill of execution empowers him to create images which allow him to celebrate his love for the Indian arts.
In the field of arts, styles and manners,various genres of painting create pathways taking the visual language to expand. The visual idiom reveals the layers of experience and creates an experience, which presents an image of reality which is hidden from the eye of the viewer.
Vishal explores reality with a dual approach. He enjoys Indian classical music, dance and ancient Indian architecture. He discovers so many parallels, between these arts, postures of the human figures in the sculptures adorning temple walls and dance postures. Rhythm of the vocal and instrumental music and visual rhythm of the dance postures. Ornamental decorations of the architectural form and costume and jewelry of the dancers.The parallels create a kaleidoscopic mesmerizing experience. The intensity of the enhanced experience leads to the celebration in the form of the visual image. Vishal’s skill in composing the frameworks creates the pathways for the viewer to mirror and share the joyful experiences.
