MAHAPREIT and Indo British Business Forum enters MOU for Renewable Energy and Infrastructure projects in Mumbai

Mumbai, 01st August 2022 (GNI): Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) , a wholly
owned subsidiary of MPBCDC, Govt of Maharashtra PSU and Indo British Business Forum (IBBF) entered into MOU for Renewable Energy and Infrastructure projects.

IBBF is an organization aiming to strengthen trade and business relations between the UK and India, attract investments and boost small and
medium enterprises (SMEs) especially with the support funding of UK government and its agencies with updated, emerging technology supply and knowledge partnerships.

It is aimed to encourage, nurture and promote bilateral business, mutual understanding, and friendly relationship between industrial, service, and business communities of India and UK .
IBBF and MAHAPRIET intends to have collaboration in upcoming and ongoing projects of later in the fields of Solar power projects, Green Hydrogen and EV charging stations, EV bus supply, Software technology park and Data center, Express way construction and Affordable housing.

Bipin Shrimali, MD , MAHAPREIT mentioned that the MOU will enable the company to raise low cost finance with British technology for its Data Center project, Solar projects for Agriculture feeder Electricity supply to the tune of proposed 2000 MW projects in the state of Maharashtra , ongoing Energy saving and RE transformation projects with Municipal corporations , Smart Electricity meters , and Agriculture Based Value chain projects of Green coal , Bio Fuels and value added products.
