Navi Mumbai, 19 July 2022 (GNI): Apollo Hospitals, in association with Indian Medical Association (IMA), Navi Mumbai organized a scientific session on “Adult Vaccination”. This continuing medical education (CME) session brought together over 100 General Practitioners.
Adult vaccination is an unaddressed area of health. But 25% of mortality occurs due to Infectious diseases. Hence, vaccination is recommended for everyone. It is for prevention of chronic illnesses, reduction of transmission of acute viral illnesses, and reduction in severity of illness in high-risk population, thereby decreasing morbidity and mortality.
