Maharashtra Governor visits Chunabhatti Gurudwara on Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti

MUMBAI (GNI): The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao on Tuesday, visited the Gurudwara Sri Guru Nanak Satsang Sabha at Sion-Chunabhatti in Mumbai on the occasion of the birth anniversary celebrations of the 10thSikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh.

The Governor listened to the holy Shabad and Kirtan presented by Ragi Harjinder Singh on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor recalled that he often visited the Gurudwara Sachkhand at Nanded and took part in the langars during his graduating years. He admitted to feeling blessed to have visited the Gurudwara Sri Guru Nanak Satsang Sabha on the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti.

The Governor was presented the Siropa and Kirpan by President of the Gurudwara Satnam Singh Dham. Member of Parliament Poonam Mahajan, Kuldip Singh, Bachan Singh Dham and many Sikh devotees were present on the occasion.
