Santosh Sivan’s Mumbaikar to wrap up by Feb 27; set for May 27 release

Mumbai, 10th February 2021 (GNI): Director Santosh Sivan will probably go down in history as the director who shot his film Mumbaikar before schedule everyday, with producer Shibu Thameens actually asking him to take more time if he wishes!
Mumbaikar began its shoot after SS  Rajamouli and Karan Johar launched the film, with Karan Johar stating that the film ‘promises to be a stunning cinematic experience’.  
Mumbaikar is an action-thriller and director Santosh Sivan’s film stars Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi, Tanya Maniktala, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey and Sachin Khedekar in key roles, and is being shot in a start-to-finish schedule in the city at the moment.
The film also introduces young actor Hridhu Haroon to Hindi cinema.ENDS
