Inauguration Ceremony Concluded
On the evening of 18thNovember the program was inaugurated in the presence of His
Excellency Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Governor, Maharashtra, Shri. P. C. Dineshan
Nambutiripad Tantri Guruvayoor Temple, Kerala, Padma Shri Shankar Mahadevan,
Singer and Musician and Trustee of Astika Samaj Shri. C. S. Parameshwar Iyer.
Mr. C. S. Parameshwar Iyer said that Astika Samaj is a 99 year old temple in
Matunga, Mumbai, where we are following traditional puja/rituals at Sri Guruvayoor
Krishna Mandir, Guruvayoor, Kerala.
Astika Samaj has organized a unique and rare program of Maha Dravyavarti
Sahasra Brahma Kalashabhishekam (1008 Silver and 1 Golden Kalash Abhishekam)
to Lord Kochu Guruvayurappan during the holy period of 18th to 25th November 2022.
This unique puja ceremony is being conducted under the guidance of Sri. P. C.
Dineshan Namboothiripad, Tantri who is the Tantri from Sri Krishna Temple,
Guruvayoor, Kerala along with a team of 80 Namboothiris from Kerala. This is the
most important Tantric ritual and we welcome all the devotees to participate in this
eight-day long puja and seek the blessings of Lord Kochu Guruvayoorappan.Sri. P. C. Dinesh Nambutiripad Tantri Guruvayur Mandir, Kerala, blessed all the devotees by elaborating and informing the importance of offering prayers to Lord Sri Guruvayurappan giving a insight about the Puja.
Padma Sri Shankar Mahadevan, Singer and Composer graced the function by singing a devotional song praising Sri Guruvayoorappan in his melodious voice.
His Excellency Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Governor, Maharashtra State, said that the
program has shown the importance of Lord Shri Krishna from South India to North
India.
And by organizing this program in Mumbai, the organizers have made it possible for
