MUMBAI, (GNI): Mumbai was Tuesday totally paralysed by the incessant rain, which left several areas of the financial capital waterlogged and claimed many lives in a wall collapse in a northern suburb.
Heavy rains lashing the city since last Sunday have thrown rail, air and road traffic out of gear, with several trains and flights being cancelled. Schools and colleges declared closed by state government. Office goers also could not reached their offices due to waterlogged on the road, local railway tracks.
“Due to heavy rains that have caused flight disruptions, GoAir is accommodating impacted customers on alternate GoAir flights within 24 hours (3rd July) subject to availability.
Customers who cancel flights for today/within 24 hours will receive full refund, GoAir Spokesperson said in a press statement.” Ends
