MUMBAI, (GNI): The 3rd edition of the IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon ‘24-hour Stadium Run’ commenced today at 6 pm at the Mumbai University ground, Mumbai. The run was flagged off by Nagraj Adiga, Race Director, IDBI Federal Life Insurance Mumbai Half Marathon while many more were present to motivate the runners. Runners participated across three race categories: 24-Hour Solo Run, 12-Hour Solo Run, and 12-Hour Relay Run (Corporate and Open Relay) on the 400-metre race track.
This year, more than 1200 runners participated in the stadium run, 50 runners ran the 24-Hour Stadium Run, while 120 individuals took part in the 12-Hour Run, and 22 Corporate and 151 Open Relay teams came forward to showcase their skills and to spread the message of fitness through running.
Open & Corporate Relay Runs – The teams are competing on a 400m race track; each team consists of 6 runners (4 male and 2 female); each individual will run for 2 Hrs.
