MUMBAI, (GNI): A group of students from Kokrajhar district of Assam visiting Mumbai as part of the National Integration Tour called on the Governor of Maharashtra CH Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Wednesday (22 Nov).
The visit which was organized by the 3 Rajput Battalion of Indian Army aims to provide the students with a brief exposure of the rich heritage, current developments and the quality of life in other parts of India thereby enhancing the vision of the students.
Interacting with the students, the Governor impressed upon them the importance of education. He said education is the key to progress that will take them forward in life. He said education will help them join the discourse of development in the modern, developing and progressive India. He appealed to the students to reject the path of violence and become good citizens of India. Ends
