MUMBAI, (GNI): After successfully contributing to the society through various mediums of art, culture, and CSR in Kolkata and Jaipur, Siddha Group, one of India’s reputed real estate developer and marketer, is now organizing similar activities here in Mumbai. Today, as the world celebrates ‘Environment Day,’ Siddha Group and BMC organized a series of eco-friendly initiatives in Kandivali, as part of their green campaign, ‘Grow a Plant, Save a Life’.
Siddha Group and BMC planted around 500 Silver Oak Trees of about 7-8 feet tall along the banks of Poisar River and planted another 100 Bougainvillea plants on the divider at M G Road in Kandivali. Additionally, a Swachhata Rally and Street Play with students of KES Shroff College and few BMC Officials giving a strong message of keeping our environment clean and green.
Top organizations and individuals were also felicitated on this occasion who has contributed to environmental preservation and protection throughout the year. The felicitation ceremony was graced by prominent dignitaries such as Gopal Shetty – MP, Yogesh Sagar – MLA, Atul Bhatkhalkar – MLA, Bhai Girkar – MLA, Kamlesh Yadav – Prabhat Samiti Chairman and several other corporators of R-South ward, Kandivali.
