Missouri State University, US, invites Indian students for UG program in Media, Journalism and Film

New Delhi, 27th February, 2017 (GNI) : Missouri State University (MSU), long-established university of mid-west US, has invited applications for undergraduate program under the Department of Media, Journalism and Film. A degree in media and film studies gives students opportunities to hone their communication, creative, analytical, and critical thinking skills, which are essential in many career fields.

All cultures tell stories that communicate and embody their values and aspirations. Film and media studies equip students with the critical and analytical skills required to understand how mass media simultaneously reflect, affect and shape modern society. Mastering critical studies skills prepares students to succeed in graduate school and many careers in media or communication.

 

Explaining the benefits of studying media, journalism and film making at Missouri State University, Colonel Stephen Robinette, Associate Vice President, International Programs, MSU, said, “If a student wants to tell stories – fictional or factual – in the evolving world of media, journalism and film, he/ she will have the benefit of learning from our master teachers and receive professional focus.”

Who can apply?

Any student with a (10+2) certificate in senior secondary education, with high GPA, ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1180 and IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL score of 61.
